This village now must be classified as impossibly quaint

We’ve been here two weeks. I wrote earlier about the parade that took place the moment we arrived in town. A few days ago, while I took a nap, the kids heard a commotion outside and ran out on the balcony to see what was going on. A dozen soldiers on horseback were riding through town. Tonight we heard a band playing down near the church. It turned out that the village band was having a concert. And they’re really good! Margaret ran back to the house for the camera so Tim could take these pictures.
